Hum kam se kam data lete hain, aur aapki photo kabhi nahi. We collect as little as possible.

🔒 Aapki family photo

Your photo never leaves your device. Framing, zoom, watermark and the HD image are all created inside your browser. The photo is not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us, and never shown on any public page or link preview. If you close the page, the photo is gone from our site — choose it again to make another image.

What we collect

• Name, city, message you type for a diya or gift — shown publicly on cards (messages only after approval).
• Recipient name and relationship for gifts. We never ask for the recipient's phone number.
• Mobile number — there is no login or OTP. Razorpay shares the number you used at checkout. We store it only as a one-way hash, to find your order for support and to stop self-referrals. We do not keep it in readable form and never show it.
• Approximate location (optional) — only if you turn on "Mera diya India map par dikhao" and allow location. Your phone rounds it to a ~2 km area before sending it; we never receive or store your exact location. The map shows only how many diyas were lit in each area, never names.
• Payment details — handled by Razorpay. We receive the order ID, payment ID, amount, status and method, never your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
• Technical data — IP address (for rate-limiting abuse) and standard server logs.

On your device

We use local storage and one cookie to remember: the Jyot code of the friend who invited you (7 days), your city and your own Jyot code, and your HD unlock (2 hours). The admin panel uses a login cookie. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes data

• Google Firebase (database), servers in India where available.
• Mappls / MapmyIndia (India map tiles).
• Razorpay (payments).
• Vercel (website hosting).

We do not sell or rent your data.

Retention and your rights

Diya cards and order records are kept for up to 12 months after the campaign for accounting and support, then deleted. To remove your name or message from a card, or for any request under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, write to contact@ekcrorediye.in with your card link.

Children

Users under 18 should use the site with a parent or guardian, who should make any payment.
